GYNECARE VERSAPOINT* Fibroid Vaporisation Therapy

GYNECARE VERSAPOINT* is a minimally invasive treatment developed to remove fibroids (also polyps & tissue). It involves the use of an instrument, which vaporises fibroids instead of shaving them.

GYNECARE VERSAPOINT* fibroid vaporisation therapy, which is a short procedure, is simple to perform, minimally invasive and usually requires no hospital stay. Unlike major surgical procedures GYNECARE VERSAPOINT* makes it easier for the surgeon to remove the fibroid because there are no tissue pieces left in the uterus that must be withdrawn during the procedure. In addition GYNECARE VERSEAPOINT* fibroid vaporisation therapy can be performed under local as opposed to general anaesthesia.

GYNECARE VERSAPOINT* is also effective. Most patients feel less pain and heal faster than with a hysterectomy because there is no cutting of skin or stitches as in traditional surgery . Following treatment most women can return to normal activity and family commitments within a few days.
